Position involves being on-call for situations that require immediate attention based on a rotating schedule with the crisis team. During on-call responsililities, crisis response candidates must be able to respond to situations within 20-30 minutes. Candidates must be comfortable managing physical aggression and combative behaviors. Experience successfully managing challenging behaviors required. Candidates on-call responsibilities must be available to respond 24 hours a day when on call. Candidates must communicate their work schedules at their regular programs during their on-call rotations.
This position is in addition to an employee’s regular position with Innovative Services, Inc. Both managers and direct support professionals are encouraged to apply.
To be eligible for these positions, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent or a CNA license/Personal Care Worker certificate. A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record is required. Prior experience working with challenging behaviors and developmental disabilities, mental health and/or AODA issues is strongly preferred.
